Post-Christmas EG

I'm writing this post while uploading the file (my net is slow, so it takes a long time). I know, that everyone was waiting for this EG release, but I didn't have much time to work on it. I wanted to release this on Christmas, but it took too long, so it's late by a few days.
With this release, we have finally finished scanlating Erementar Gerad Red. Thanks to everyone, who worked together with me on this project, and those who have worked on this before me!

Well, chapter 90 is finally here, and this chapter concludes volume 17. One more volume till the end, and everything is on it's way. Also, we started working on the last volume of Onikirisama too. It was mentioned in the chatbox some time ago.
Our forum is finally open (for some time now), though only registered users can read it. It's lonely by myself, so it would be good, if some of you could come.

Hi there!

Another day with two chapters. Wolx had a really hard day in AnS, and we're back to Sha in Red.
I planned to finally post those damn topics on the forum today (after delaying it a month or two)... But I had the luck, that just today the forum is down for some reason.
There are some mysteries revealed in this EG chapter... And some new mysteries, that I doubt the author has thought about long enough to explain... I don't want to spoiler, so I'll explain it in detail when the forum is ready :D

Oh, the old chatbox has been replaced with a new one. I registered on Cbox, and I can moderate the comments. I consider every "blogwalker" post as spam, and delete them.

And also, another thing. Recently there are more and more of these annoying spammers in our chatbox, so I decided to do something about it. The main problem with the chatbox is that I can't moderate comments, and all these idiots just come here, and put out their stupid links. Nearly half the posts are just spam...
You can see the solution I came up with to the left, where the chatbox used to be. It shows the six most recent comments. You can comment on any post, and it will show up there (eventually... for some reason the comments only appear here about an hour after you write them). To make this a bit more like how it used to be, there are two changes to commenting: First, there's no word verification. Second, I don't have to moderate the comments before they appear (but I can still delete the spam later).
For the time being, the chatbox is still there at the bottom.

Here's the chapter I promised earlier. More than fourty pages of EG! With this, volume 16 is finished.
I go on a holiday tomorrow, and I won't be able to write or post anything for more than a week. I've disabled the comment moderation for this week, so that the comments will be displayed before I'm back. Usually I publish comments in a few days at most, but this time it would take much longer.
I can't say that I'm really surprised about the results of the poll, though I expected a bit less votes for Adventure, and much less votes for Slice of Life.

Here's another chapter of EG.
The poll seems to be going on quite well. Fantasy and Romance have the most votes for a time now. There are a few things that I didn't expect though... For example, that Slice of Life would get more votes than Sci-fi or Mystery.
And, returning to the most popular comment topic: Fantasy vs. Supernatural. Since no answer came to my question (Ch 82, my 2nd comment) I assume, that noone knows the answer to this particular mystery. So, my conclusions: the Fantasy and Supernatural genre are essentially the same. It only depends on your personal taste which word you use.
You can feel free to restart the argument, but most likely you won't be able to convince me. And keep in mind that (as I've said in the chatbox) this is my area of expertise.
With all that said, I liked this discussion. It was a pleasant and refreshing one.

So, about the new poll... What I'm interested in is not something like most of the mangas I like are action, or my favorite manga is mainly action, so I vote for action. What I'd like to know is, whether you like that manga because it's action. I'd like to know which elements of the manga you like the most. And, as I wrote in the poll, please don't select more than 3 genres.
Another chapter that was a hell to clean. Well, enjoy it. It's a nice chapter if you don't have to redraw double pages... After a bit of delay, because of some missing text, here's the next EG.

p.s. I left out some genres I thought unimportant. For example, I still don't understand what's that really important difference between fantasy and supernatural that makes these two different genres...
p.p.s. Yes, I know there's a difference, but I don't think it's big enough to make the two different genres.
p.p.p.s. There's a question at the end of my second comment. If you want me to believe, that there's some great difference between the two genres, give me a logical answer to that. (I won't accept answers like "both are supernatural.")

We're getting really close, and even though a Russian scanlator offered to order and scan it for us too, it's out of print, and we don't know when it'll be reprinted. We have a new proofreader.
This is the first chapter of vol 15, and if you look at the post, which lists our EG releases, you will see how the work stands (here). I'll update this regularly. Most of the time, the releases will depend on how fast I can do them, so it doesn't mean much, but better than nothing.

A Halloween release! There's a very scary new character in this chapter, I don't want to see him again (you will know what I mean).

I made a new credit page (I didn't like the last one... I really didn't like it...), and worked hard, to get this chapter to you as soon as possible. It's not that easy, since virtually I'm the only one working on the chapters. Yuri has already finished, with the translation of the next 5 chapters... This is why we need more cleaners, and editors.
